The specialist empowers Extension agents through training, mentorship, and high-quality educational resources, ensuring research-based knowledge reaches those who need it most. Working collaboratively with state and national partners, the role advances strategic initiatives, strengthens external funding support, and measures and communicates meaningful program impact. The specialist contributes to University and College service while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
