Sr. Software Engineer

Description Robert Half is hiring We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and maintain high-quality software solutions, focusing on both front-end and back-end development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable systems, optimize performance, and ensure secure deployment in cloud environments. Responsibilities: u2022 Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI, as well as Node.js frameworks like Express or NestJS. u2022 Create and manage RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web applications. u2022 Develop and enhance front-end components using React to ensure seamless integration with back-end systems. u2022 Architect and deploy applications in cloud environments utilizing AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway. u2022 Design microservices and distributed systems to support scalable application architecture. u2022 Optimize database queries, application performance, and efficient use of cloud resources. u2022 Implement best practices for authentication, authorization, and overall system security. u2022 Manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and related tools. u2022 Collaborate with teams across product, design, and DevOps to ensure cohesive project execution. u2022 Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in cloud-based environments. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in software development. u2022 Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Node.js. u2022 Hands-on experience with React for building front-end applications. u2022 Familiarity with AWS cloud services and deploying cloud-native applications. u2022 Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB). u2022 Strong understanding of RESTful API design and asynchronous programming concepts. u2022 Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. u2022 Commitment to producing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
