POSITION:Financial Analyst - RNOSCHEDULE: Full timeLOCATION: Reno, NVSALARY: $75,000 - $85,000TO APPLY:Direct Link-Page-note, employers may close jobs on the website at any time.SUMMARY:The ideal candidate for the Financial Analyst position will be professional, highly productive, disciplined, team-oriented, technically astute, and responsive to the needs of the company, colleagues, and stakeholders. The Financial Analyst will perform operational and financial data analysis, forecasting, budgeting, pricing, variance analysis, trend analysis, and preparation of reports.MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.- Three (3+) years of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and/or accounting.- Strong quantitative and analytical competency; research, data collection, and analysis skills.- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective relationships with managers and key stakeholders.- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable interacting and presenting toexecutive-level management.- Strong PC skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; familiarity with cloud-based file sharing and virtual office environment is advantageous.- Professionalism and high level of discretion are required.- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects.- Ability to manage multiple projects and to see the big picture.- Valid state driver's license.- Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States, complete a U.S. government I-9 form, and successfully pass a government background check.Desired Experience/Skills- Advanced degree and DCAA/DCMA government accounting experience preferred.- Experience using the ERP system Unanet preferred.Work Authorization- Tactical Air Support is a Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace .Pre-employment, random, or for cause drug/alcohol testing (including for marijuana) required.- Specific work hours determined by operational, departmental, or contractual requirements.- Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and overtime work may be required.- Occasional travel to various work sites throughout the U.S. may be required.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:- Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to provide insight into company performance.- Calculate and recognize month-end revenue on major contracts.- Perform account and budget monitoring and account reconciliation.- Collaborate with managers to perform budget variance analysis, resolve coding discrepancies, and update forecasts.- Prepare monthly reports for presentations for the purpose of analysis and financial performance review.
