Performance Health is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence through the application of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. The role partners cross functionally to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, improve quality, and enhance safety, cost, and delivery performance. The position plays a key role in building a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesIdentify, assess, and lead improvements across manufacturing operations for processes and equipmentServe as expert on lean manufacturing tools and implementation for manufacturing operationsIdentify process inefficiencies and implement sustainable solutions to improve productivity, quality, cost, and deliveryConduct training, as needed, on lean manufacturing principlesIdentify, develop, and present business case for insourcing opportunities, use of new technology and automation projectsImplement process capability monitoring and improvementsManage improvement projects from concept through implementation and sustainmentLead large transformation projects for manufacturing operationsDefine project scope, objectives, metrics, and timelinesTrack and report progress, savings, and performance improvements to leadershipPerforms other duties as assignedJob QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, industrial manufacturing or similar7+ years' experience in manufacturing environment5+ years' experience implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturingProject management skills and experienceAbility to read and understand manufacturing P&L and perform cost justifications (ROI, NPV, etc.)Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorksPreferred experience in medical device manufacturing, ISO 13485, and 21 CFR 820Ability to travel 50% of the time, including overnight travelBenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $120,000 - $135,000 and the opportunity to earn bonus, plus benefits.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
