We feature innovations in joint replacement, robotic surgery, pelvic health for women, cancer care, intensive care for newborns, neurosurgery, medical care for children and more.u00a0Salmon Creek Medical Center is certified for Level III neonatal care.u00a0 Our NICU is able to care for 25 critically ill newborns. Our unit features 15 private rooms, three rooms for twins, and space for four more babies in our special care nursery. Family space, including a sleeping area is built into each family room.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for patient care within an assigned department/unit and participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of the clinical manager or designee as defined by the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse. The RN Staff Nurse assesses, analyzes, plans, implements and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards for Legacy Health System including those for patient assessment and transfer.QualificationsEducation:u00a0As required by licensure.u00a0 BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred. BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.u00a0Experience:One-year registered nursing experience or completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration.u00a0 Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized.Recent NICU experience strongly preferred.u00a0Knowledge/Skills:u00a0- Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community.u00a0- Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Apply Here:u00a0
