Description Prominent, Wilmington Delaware client seeks a Legal Administrator with proven real estate law expertise, who can provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to attorneys and legal staff. This role ensures the smooth functioning of legal department activities such as financial management, human resources, account reconciliations, vendor management, oversight of office workflow, review of settlement statements, communication coordination, budgeting & forecasting, records maintenance, case management, and processing of accounts receivables. The ideal candidate should have operational/strategic planning expertise, payroll & benefits experience and know of federal state, and local employment laws. What you get to do everyday u00b7 Prepare, format, proofread, and file legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and court filings. u00b7 Maintain and organize physical and electronic legal files, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and document control. u00b7 Monitor deadlines, court dates, and regulatory filings; manage attorney calendars and schedule meetings. u00b7 Assist with contract management, including tracking renewals and maintaining agreement databases. u00b7 Support billing activities, including time entry, invoice preparation, and expense tracking. u00b7 Conduct basic legal research and gather case-related information as requested. u00b7 Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and confidentiality standards. u00b7 Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for legal and executive leadership. u00b7 Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed. Requirements The ideal Legal Administrator will preferably have a Associates/Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
