JOB REQUIREMENTS: Receiving Inspector The Receiving Inspector isresponsible for quality assurance of incoming raw materials. Who are we?Founded in 1849, Ducommun is the oldest company in California. StandardEssential Functions Perform first piece / first article inspections ofraw materials. Perform receiving inspection on raw materials perdocumentation and recording results. Inspect a variety of electroniccomponents such as printed circuit boards, connectors and a variety ofmolded parts. Ensure all required paperwork is received and previousoperations indicated on the documents are completed in accordance withestablished procedures prior to conducting an inspection. Rejectnon-conforming material and create NCMR paperwork. May provideon-the-job-training (OJT) for other inspectors. Responsible for theproper handling of electronic components. Use tools such as a caliperand pin gauge to measure the necessary requirements. Operate equipmentto test material with the use of X-ray Florence (XRF). Use ofmagnification aid to inspect electronic components. Perform otherassignments as required Required Education and Experience High SchoolDiploma. Strong computational skills with the ability to conceptualizeand understand technical reports, data, drawings, etc. Intermediatelevel computer proficiency, including proficient with Microsoft Office -Outlook and Excel. Excellent organizational skills and ability tomulti-task and handle multiple projects. Able to work with a high levelof accuracy and with minimal supervision. Required Experience and EducationProficient use of inspection tools and associated technical documentsincluding but not limited to the following: scope with light, in-processwork sheets, drawings, specifications sheets, bills of material, avariety of jigs and fixtures for examining components and assemblies andcalibrated measuring rules. Certified to IPC-A-600 is a plus. Knowledgeof AS9102. Good knowledge of electronic components. Knowledge ofrequired standards, as identified in training matrix, including ISOand...
