Primary FunctionThe Residential/Commercial Service TechnicianIIresponsibilities includebut not limitedto;customer sitevisits,servicingand/orinstallingequipment, repairingequipment,deliveringsaltandmaintainingcustomerrelationships.TheResidential/Commercial Service Technician IImust have the ability towork on their own with little direct supervision,have greatorganizational skills,and be mechanically minded. ResponsibilitiesComplete Maintenance and repairs on residential water treatmentequipment. Deliver salt to both residential and commercial customers.Record appointment data for every service call. Utilize interpersonalskills to communicate professionally at all levels with customers andwithin the company. Communicate with management, sales and customerservice to resolve customer complaints. Maintain service vehicleinventory. Adhere to company safety and vehicle practices. Take in saltdeliveries and unload into the warehouse via forklift. Basic shop dutiessuch as cleaning and building maintenance. Perform any other activitiesas needed or as directed. Qualifications High SchoolDegreerequired.Associate's degreein a technical related fieldpreferredMinimum of1-2years related work experience Insurable driving recordAbility to lift 50lbs consistently throughout the day Successfulcompletion ofpre-employment screenings, includingDOT requirements Workin a variety of environments (crawl spaces, attics, etc.) ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS: HVAC/Plumbing/Mechanical related experiencea plusProficiencywith computers and programs, specifically Microsoft Officesoftware Proficient customer service experience. Willingness tolearnlocal, state, and nationalcodes/regulations. Ability to workindependently and as a team to meet deadlines and goals.
