StartDate: Immediate Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: You willestablish, maintain and ensure proper execution of a valid productionschedule for all items, and is responsible for level loading dailyproduction schedules through analyzing resource capacity and otherconstraints to optimize through-put, while minimizing manufacturingcycle time, inventory, and achieving on-time delivery goals. You willdemonstrate strong interpersonal skills through effective communicationand coordination with multiple functional groups (including Operation,Customer Service, Finance, and Purchasing). The Production Schedulerwill assist the Master Production Scheduler (MPS) in determining andmaintaining forecast and safety stock levels. You will direct dailywork flow (WIP - 'work in process') through analysis of reports andinput from cross-functional teams. You will align and sets prioritiesfor resources and shared resources across factory to maximize efficiencyand material flow to ensure customer ship schedules on time. You willaccumulate daily parts/material information to analyze and establishdates to meet and exceed customer delivery requirements. You willcommunicate with cross-functional teams including: Customer Service,Engineering, Quality, Operations and Purchasing. You will own metricsof manufacturing cycle time (OTTC), through-put, past due orderreduction, and on-time delivery. You will participate in and leadbusiness processes improvement events such as Continuous ImprovementFramework, kaizens and workshops in order to improve processes andreduce waste. You will assist in the development and implementationof procedures and techniques which will improve the scheduling function. You will actively participate in process improvement andcreation/adhering to standard work. You will establish optimalinventory levels to achieve desired service, while utilizing just intime inventory management philosophies.
