Bombardieru2019s Benefits Program With our employeesu2019 well-being top of mind, we offer a comprehensive and competitive Benefits Program, which includes the following: + Insurance plans _(Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more)_ + Competitive base salary + Retirement savings plan + Employee Assistance Program + Tele Health Program What are your contributions to the team? u2022 Plan and construct layout of tools and dies from Engineering, Tool Design, and/or Methods documents u2022 Review Methods documents to ensure producibility of tool or die and provide estimates of labor hours for construction as required u2022 Determine and order the raw materials required to build tool or die u2022 Assemble tools and dies using and interpreting a variety of precision measurement equipment to ensure compliance with Engineering specifications u2022 Troubleshoot and coordinate with Engineering, Tool Design, Production, and/or Methods to resolve problems pertaining to the successful construction of a tool or die design How to thrive in this role? u2022 Typically 7 years conventional machining, sheet metal, fabrication, or related experience, which must include 5 years experience in tool and die construction u2022 Ability to read and interpret Engineering, Methods, and Tool Design documents u2022 Ability to use and interpret a variety of precision measurement instruments u2022 Ability to set-up and operate various shop machines, for example mills, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, table routers, power hand tools, and heat treat oven u2022 Mechanical skills u2022 Basic knowledge of safety requirements for tool and die construction u2022 Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and departments u2022 Basic knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, and algebra u2022 Working knowledge of tool and die construction and required machinery, equipment, and raw materials Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team Bombardier is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
