Job Description A defense electronics organization is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support its Space Electronic Systems (SES) division, which develops advanced embedded systems and spaceu2011qualified electronics for the DoD, Intelligence Community, and civil space customers. In this role, the Sr. Project Engineer will serve as the technical execution lead for engineering programs, owning project planning, requirements decomposition, and dayu2011tou2011day execution across electrical, mechanical, and embedded software teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong embedded systems or electrical engineering background, understands the full hardware development lifecycle, and can translate systemu2011level requirements into clear scopes of work, schedules, and deliverables. This position bridges technical leadership and project execution, ensuring engineering work is properly scoped, tracked, and delivered efficiently while maintaining technical rigor and engineering best practices. This is a full time hybrid position in Fairfax, VA, Littleton, CO or Concord, NH. With work from home options 1 or 2 days per week. This position is offering a salary range of $136,000 - $157,000.
