Responsibilities This position is part of the Division of Biomedical & Scientific Visualization, a collaborative team of medical illustrators and animators who develop visual solutionsu2014from 3D models and immersive interactive experiences to animation and illustrationu2014that communicate complex biomedical concepts to support education, research, and patient care. The role works closely with the Digital Asset Management Team, which oversees the Media Asset Management system at Mayo. Supports leadership in managing production workflow of media assets with the media asset management system. Effectively manages media asset storage for division and enterprise. Duties include coordinating customer requests both inside and outside the department, effectively controlling the storage of a variety of media assets and serving as a contact for customers encountering media asset needs. This position is a combination of remote and on-site work; individual must live within driving distance to the Rochester Mayo Clinic campus. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program. Qualifications This position requires a high-school graduate with technical abilities and interest in computers and excellent customer service skills. Preferred educational background is vocational or college courses in digital asset processing concepts, operating systems, metadata, or three-to-four years of digital asset production management experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Digital asset coordinators typically work normal business hours. Staff supports many services that require full work week availability. Hours may vary and additional time or overtime may be required to meet workload requirements. Incumbents are responsible for education or meetings that may not occur during their normal working hours. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is preferred.
