Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a US-Production Planner to join their team. As a US-Production Planner, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting production scheduling and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: US-Production Planner Location: Waukesha, WI Shift: Core hours: 3pm-11pm; OT: up to 10 hours a day and every other weekend; Orientation is the first week on 1st shift What's the Job? + Establish, maintain, and ensure proper execution of a valid production schedule for all items. + Analyze resource capacity and constraints to optimize throughput while minimizing manufacturing cycle time and inventory. + Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Purchasing. + Assist in determining and maintaining forecast and safety stock levels in collaboration with the Master Production Scheduler. + Lead daily workflow management to meet and exceed customer delivery requirements and improve manufacturing metrics. What's Needed? + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred + Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. + Reside within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI; relocation is not offered. + Proficiency in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or purchasing modules is preferred. + Proficiency in EXCEL IS A MUST + Experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles and problem-solving tools such as DMAIC, Kaizen, and root cause analysis is advantageous.
