Full-time Night Custodian - SchoolLocation: South Nashville, near Foster Avenue and Murfreesboro Pike (close to I-440)Department: Custodial - ServiceFM LLCReports To: Facility Manager and Custodial SupervisorEmployment Type: Hourly (Non-Exempt)Compensation: $17.00 per hour plus some benefitsPosition Summary:ServiceFM LLC is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Night Custodian to support daily custodial operations at a large middle and high school facility. The ideal candidate is proactive, takes pride in cleanliness, and is committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform general custodial duties (cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal).Conduct routine inspections and ensure the cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and entrances.Maintain floors and carpets as needed.Support event setups and breakdowns, including furniture moves.Help secure building entrances during shifts and report any safety or maintenance issues.Carry and respond to a two-way radio for service and emergency communication.Provide occasional support for weekend events with advance notice.Work Schedule:Monday - Friday: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)Total Hours: 40 hours per weekOccasional overtime or weekend work may be required for special eventsPrevious custodial or janitorial experience is requiredConsistent and reliable attendance, with strong punctualityFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed (preferred)Must successfully pass a background check to work in a school environmentPhysically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including walking, bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds, pulling, and pushingDemonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service mindsetWorks well independently and as part of a teamAble to accurately track and log work hours using a smartphone or mobile devicePerks and Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Life InsuranceVoluntary Benefits, including: Short-Term Disability & Long-Term Disability Accident Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO): 1 week per year, accrued proportionallyCustodian Incentive Bonus: Earn up to an additional $0.55/hour every 6 months based on performanceBirthday Gift: $25 gift card on your birthdayEmployee Referral BonusBenefits Eligibility: Must work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
