Hours of Work :Day Shift 7a-7pDays Of Week :VariesWork Shift :Job Description :Job PurposeIn this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Telemetry Technician provides continual observation and documentation of situation by documenting rhythms during a code situation and notifying physicians and staff. Perform skilled clerical and receptionist duties.Job Requirements:Education:High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experienceComplete a basic dysrhythmia course with an acceptable score during orientationComplete an annual recertification course in basic dysrhythmia with an acceptable scoreLicenses and/or Certifications:Complete a basic dysrhythmia course with an acceptable score during orientationComplete an annual recertification course in basic dysrhythmia with an acceptable scoreWork Experience:At least six months work experience preferredMethodist Charlton Medical Center is a 314-bed, full-service, acute care teaching hospital that serves Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Lancaster in southwestern Dallas County.
