Position Title: Machine Operator Wage: $56,264.00 - $56,264.00/Year Shift: 3rd Shift Hours: 10:45 PM - 06:45 AM Monday - Friday & Saturday 06:45 PM - 12:45 AM Step into a fast paced, hands-on manufacturing role where your mechanical skill, attention to detail, and commitment to quality keep production running smoothly. As a key player in the client company’s operation, you’ll operate and adjust equipment, ensure product excellence through continuous quality checks, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This is a role for someone who thrives in teamwork, takes pride in precision, and is ready to grow, contribute, and make an immediate impact on a high performing production team. Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Maintaining equipment and making necessary machine adjustments to meet product quality standards - Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, and established safety rules and regulations - Maintaining accurate production records - Performing quality inspection checks and product safety checks at regular intervals throughout the shift - Being people oriented, able to work with others to complete work assignments in a team environment, and willing to direct others to complete work assignments - Understanding and utilizing box erecting, case sealing, and labeling equipment - Moving pallets, basic cleanup/sweeping, and assisting other positions as needed - Performing sanitation of the work area and equipment as needed - Willingness to assist in training for the position when needed - Being dependable and having flexibility to work overtime, different shifts, and Saturdays and Sundays when needed Requirements For Machine Operator: - Mechanically inclined and able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment assessments to meet minimum requirements for the position - Able to give and accept constructive criticism - Responsible for maintaining a professional image with customers, peers, supervisors, and the public - Good organizational and communication skills - Proficient in math and problem solving abilities - A self starter who is easily motivated and requires limited supervision - Willingness to assist in training for the position when needed - A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred - Education beyond high school is a plus - Forklift experience is desirable - Prior manufacturing and/or packaging experience is also a plus - Requires sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally IND050 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
