Our products protect human life andpersonal property, improve the quality of life, generate economic prosperity, and connect society.We are looking for two skilled and motivated 2nd shift Machine Operators in our Tampa, FL concrete block manufacturing facility. Under the direction of the plant manager, shift supervisor and/or other designated leadpersonnelthe Machine Operatormaintainsthe facility in a clean, orderly and hazard free condition. This position willoperate, monitor, andmaintainconcrete block manufacturing equipment.Maintainwork area in clean and hazard freecondition.Operatemachine control panels with electronic switches.Visually inspect products and by-products for conformity to prescribed quality standards such as color,shapeand corners. Removepoor qualityproducts and by-products asrequired.Make minoradjustmentand repairs on machinery, such as removing jams.Monitorthe operation of manufacturing equipment to detect and report malfunctions.Perform quality control and fill out documentation.Empty reject dumpsters, clean loose materialfrom aroundconveyors and batching equipment.Perform other functions and duties asrequiredor directed, such asassistingwith maintenance,cleaningand repair of machinery.Follow all safety rules.Use,readand understand rulers and tape measuresRead,writeand speak English as required by safety standards and job expectationsBasic math skills,i.e.addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, averaging, etc.Interpersonal and teamwork skillsMust be able to perform duties requiring bending, stooping,squattingand crawling.
