The Direct View LED Training Manager is responsible for continuous communication and increased knowledge expansion to internal technicians and third-party installation partners. This position is responsible for evaluating both sample and production products to ensure that the published procedures are accurate and provide installers with all required information to properly install a dvLED screen. This required information will be conveyed through in person and virtual training sessions. Responsibilities also include communicating issues to R&D and QA teams in Japan including:Evaluation reportsCompetitor comparison reports (If competitive models are available)Field reportsTest Solutions products offered by Marketing and our Solutions team to guarantee, compile, create and publish compatibility sheets. Other items would include:Installation guidesTraining and Certification materials Frequently Asked Questions and Troubleshooting guidesWorking with partners to obtain testing data and more technical informationCollaborate with the Global management team to establish installation best practices. Monitor all quality issues and work with customer service to solve new issues and create a break/fix solution. Travels to customer sites as needed.Collaborate with Product Marketing and Solutions to create a master schedule for sample testing.Collaborate and compile standardized reports to R&D and QA with our findings, highlighting any issues of concern for assembly and service.Participate in Installation/Service Trainings with R&D in Germany or the dvLED manufacturer.Identify and resolve specification discrepancies with R&D and QATrain technical support, Sales, and Product Marketing on the proper use of the product and features.Train customers and ISPs to install and repair dvLED walls.Track and maintain parts warehouse for technicians and Independent Service Providers (ISPs) for parts used during installations.Identify and provide tool list or recommendation for proper dvLED installation.Track repair and analysis of strange or epidemic issues of customer units and provide detailed analysis to R&D.Minimum 7 years’ experience in direct view LED, quality assurance, technical support, or customer serviceAssociate or technical degree or equivalent experienceMinimal intermediate level spreadsheet experienceDemonstrated good organizational, communication and follow-up skillsEstablished strong technical and analytical skillsAbility to understand technical operation dvLED monitors Strong communication and presentation skillsProven ability to teach how to properly setup and use a display productUp to 50% monthly travel may be requiredPreferred Qualifications:Strong business sense and program management experience is desiredMicrosoft, AMX and/or Crestron certification is a plusSAP software experience is a plusBachelor’s degree in engineering or science field or equivalent work experienceExperience working in a multi-cultural environment is a plusABOUT US: Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA)Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) is a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, the U.S. subsidiary of Japan's Sharp Corporation, a global technology company which has been named to Fortune magazine's World's Most Admired Company List. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location.
