Then come aboard as AMERICAN SYSTEMS' next Aerospace Engineering Intern!As an Aerospace Engineering Intern, you will:Work with the latest, cutting edge technologyProvide creative solutions to complex problemsWork with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionalsA week in the life of an Aerospace Engineering Intern:Contribute as a member of an advanced technical teamPerform aerospace modeling and simulation, design, test, and development.Work with aircraft performance assessment, modeling of aircraft dynamics and aerodynamics, aircraft subsystems, and various payloads subsystems for the purpose of flight dynamics, flight controls, and aerodynamics analysisAssist with the following:Design, develop, integrate, and test aircraft flight control systems and autopilotsDevelop, integrate, and validate models of aircraft flight dynamics and subsystems, such as payloads, flight control components, and sensorsSupport lab, ground, and flight qualification testing of aircraft avionics, sensors, and flight control systemsMay have the opportunity to work with programming languages (C/C++)Co-Op / Interns typically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree.Under direct supervision, performs various tasks and assignments for the organization's professional staff in such disciplines as Engineering, Software Development, Database Management, Security Threat Analysis.High School diploma and 1-2 years of college or related work experienceAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $43,200.00/Yr. - USD $72,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
