Mease Countryside Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation , a stateu2011ofu2011theu2011art outpatient clinic on the Mease Countryside Hospital campus and part of BayCare Health System , is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative rehabilitation team. This role supports licensed Physical Therapists in delivering highu2011quality, patientu2011centered care to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, sportsu2011related conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients safely return to active lifestyles through evidenceu2011based treatment, education, and handsu2011on care. Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities: + Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist + Provide therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reu2011education, manual techniques, and modality treatments as prescribed + Treat patients with a variety of outpatient orthopedic and sportsu2011related conditions, including postu2011surgical and injury recovery + Monitor patient progress and response to treatment; communicate observations and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist + Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, and proper body mechanics to support recovery and longu2011term outcomes + Document treatments, progress notes, and patient interactions accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards + Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment + Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to ensure excellent patient experience and outcomes Requirements: + BLS (Basic Life Support) + PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) + Or PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) Temporary and licensure within 6 months + Required Associate's Physical Therapy + Preferred 1 year Physical Therapy Assistant Preferred: + Outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation experience + Experience working with active or athletic populations + Manual therapy experience Facility: BayCare Health System, Sports Medicine-MCH Location: Mease Countryside - Safety Harbor, FL Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: varies 8-hour shifts/Days Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: No How often will this team member be working remotely?
