Senior Cloud & Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role Cognizantu2019s Engineering practice is seeking a Full stack cloud engineer who will help us with developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. With a focus on AWS, ReactJs, Typescript, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL this position requires a seasoned professional with 8 to 12 years of experience. The role operates in a hybrid work model during day shifts ensuring a balanced work-life environment. In this role, you will: u00b7 Design and develop scalable software solutions using AWS, ReactJs, and Spring Boot to enhance system performance and reliability. u00b7 Design and develop scalable software solutions using Typescript to enhance system performance and reliability. u00b7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. u00b7 Implement robust and efficient code in Java and JavaScript to optimize application functionality and user experience. u00b7 Utilize SQL and MySQL for database management and data retrieval ensuring data integrity and security. u00b7 Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards and best practices. u00b7 Troubleshoot and resolve software issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure seamless user experience. u00b7 Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects. u00b7 Participate in agile development processes contributing to sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives. u00b7 Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability before deployment. u00b7 Document software designs and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing within the team. u00b7 Mentor junior developers providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development. u00b7 Optimize application performance through profiling and tuning techniques to meet user expectations. u00b7 Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system scalability. Salary and compensation: The annual salary for this position will be between $81,337 to $141,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
