Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician who will be accountable for health, safety, and environmental issues related to this position. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of electrical and electronic equipment, with a strong focus on enhancing equipment reliability. You will work alongside experienced craftsmen to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for career advancement. Responsibilities + Assist with performing other duties as required by customer demand. + Diagnose complex equipment failures, troubleshoot for root causes, and develop solutions using a scientific approach with tools such as prints, sketches, manuals, and diagnostic equipment. + Safely troubleshoot, operate, and repair complex equipment, including Process Logic Controller systems. + Apply knowledge of electrical control, electronic systems, process controllers, industrial instrumentation, and combustion systems. + Complete work in a timely manner, often without direct supervision, and organize work for maximum efficiency. + Adjust work priorities based on plant needs and business requirements. + Accurately document work in a CMMS system. Essential Skills + Electrical and conduit expertise. + Troubleshooting skills, particularly with industrial equipment. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience with PLC troubleshooting. + Knowledge of wiring and hydraulics. Work Environment The position requires working on a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, following a 3-2-2-3 schedule. The role involves hands-on work with advanced electrical and electronic systems in an industrial setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cressona, PA.
