Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and ensure accuracy in accounting processes. The role requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all aspects of financial management. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and verify parts invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Input and maintain customer information within the accounting master file. u2022 Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and manage collections for overdue accounts. u2022 Handle intercompany invoicing, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with colleagues. u2022 Communicate effectively with team members, management, clients, and external parties. u2022 Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in daily tasks. u2022 Assist in preparing documentation and reports for annual audits. u2022 Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of financial transactions. u2022 Support general ledger maintenance and ensure proper journal entries are recorded. Requirements u2022 Associateu2019s degree in accounting or finance, with 1-3 years of relevant experience. u2022 Proficiency in handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. u2022 Experience with journal entries and bank reconciliations. u2022 Familiarity with SAP or other accounting software systems. u2022 Strong understanding of audit processes and procedures. u2022 Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach. u2022 Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting (preferred) with intercompany accounting experience as a plus.
