Transport Coordinator

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join their team. As a Transport Coordinator, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting Sample Management and Internal Distribution teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Transport Coordinator Location: Beloit, WI Pay Range: $20/hr Shift: 1st Shift - 8AM - 5PM What's the Job? + Manage the logistics, documentation, and movement of product samples, raw materials, and finished goods within the company's facilities. + Coordinate with courier services such as DHL and UPS for sample dispatch and delivery. + Raise purchase orders in SAP for courier services and lab consumables, maintaining accurate tracking systems. + Assist the QA team with tasks including retrieving damaged goods, auditing packaging lines, and managing inventory samples. + Ensure the sample room is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary materials, following GMP, HACCP, and safety protocols. What's Needed? + Typically 3-5 years of experience in logistics, mailroom, or laboratory roles within a food manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with SAP. + Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. + Ability to lift, handle, and transport samples, parcels, and raw materials safely. + Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, allergen control, and safety protocols.
