Job Title: Polisher and Buffer Job Description As a Polisher and Buffer, you will begin your journey in grinding, using a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges and polish metal to a fine finish. You will have the opportunity to cross-train into basic fabrication tasks, which include cutting metal to length using a tape measure, brake press operations, spot welding, buffing, and racking for paint. You will also provide support in other departments such as assembly, packaging, and paint as needed. Responsibilities + Smooth out rough edges and polish metal using a hand grinder. + Cross-train into basic fabrication tasks including cutting metal to length. + Operate brake presses and perform spot welding. + Buff and rack metal for paint applications. + Assist in assembly, packaging, and paint departments as needed. Essential Skills + Mechanical aptitude gained from previous work experience, school, or hobbies. + Experience with sheet metal and grinding. + Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic math. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience. + Experience in tape measure reading. + Proficiency in hand and power tool use. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr.
