Description The Project Manager IV u2013 Mechanical/Heavy Industrial is responsible for leading assigned construction projects, partnering with field operations, and providing technical support to ensure safe, onu2011schedule, and profitable project completion. Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities: u2022Adhere to and promote all Company Safety Policies and the Company Code of Conduct. u2022Plan, organize and staff key field positions through regional department heads to achieve the best allocation of resources within a defined budget to meet project expectations. u2022Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards according to the Pre-Planning Process outlined in the company Policy. u2022Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and NE contacts, to facilitate construction activities. u2022Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. u2022Represent company in project meetings; assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc. u2022Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, purchases, rental equipment, income/expenses, change orders, etc.) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client. u2022Support all company reporting functions such as weekly reports, timecards, annual reviews, etc. u2022Protect company from improper u201cAt-Risku201d activities especially monitoring adherence to all safety procedures. u2022Manage both Design Build and Bid Build projects including managing the design process for the Design/Build process. u2022Performs miscellaneous other duties and responsibilities to support company strategic initiatives. u2022Collaborate with Superintendents, onu2011site crews and subcontractors to drive safe, timely, and highu2011quality project delivery. Hiring Requirements: u2022Bacheloru2019s engineering or construction management degree or similar discipline or combination of education and construction related experience. u202210+ years of progressive construction management leadership experience with responsibility on projects $7.5MM+. u2022Expertise in construction methodologies, design principles, financial management, delivery practices; knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and building systems. u2022Demonstrated leadership excellence; highly organized and decisive; strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors, and consultants. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $64.90 - $72.12/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
