Sybase Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Application Architect III to join their team. As an Application Architect III, you will be part of the IT department supporting database operations and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Application Architect III Location: Chandler, AZ Pay Range: What's the Job? + Support relational databases with 5-7 years of experience, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. + Manage and support database operations, including on-call rotations, to maintain system stability. + Utilize tools such as Foglight for monitoring and scripting for automation and troubleshooting. + Perform database migrations from Sybase to Oracle or SQL databases, ensuring smooth transitions. + Collaborate with project teams and support offshore support activities to meet organizational goals. What's Needed? + 5-7 years of experience supporting relational databases, especially Sybase ASE and replication. + Proficiency in scripting, T-SQL, and SQL to support database operations and automation. + Knowledge of Foglight monitoring tools and offshore support support experience. + Experience with database migration projects, particularly from Sybase to Oracle or SQL. + Strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to support operational needs.
