Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Bilingual Required (English/Spanish) Job Title: Registrar Employment Type: Full-Time Shift : Mon-Fri, day shift Location : Holy Cross Health Center - Gaithersburg 220 Perry Pkwy Suite 5 Gaithersburg, MD 20877 Position Purpose The registrar is responsible for servicing all areas and completing all tasks related to the front desk area of a physician practice. As client facing professionals, this position plays a key role in representing the practice in the community. As a Registrar, you will: + Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts. + Optimize patientsu2019 satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. + Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, and filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims. + Protects patientsu2019 rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information. + Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Minimum Qualifications: + High School Diploma or equivalent (required) + 1+ year of physician office experience (preferred) Pay Range : + $17.65 - $22.71 per hour + Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
