Job Title: Mech & Robotics Tech Job Description The Mech & Robotics Tech will be responsible for installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment, such as conveyors. This role also involves completing preventative maintenance routines, documenting procedures, performing battery changes, and preventive maintenance on batteries. Additionally, the technician will enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets while utilizing electrical knowledge of basic components to troubleshoot and identify equipment problems. Responsibilities + Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, such as conveyors. + Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. + Perform battery changes, and preventive maintenance on batteries. + Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets. + Utilize electrical knowledge of basic components to troubleshoot and identify equipment problems. + Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts. Essential Skills + Industrial maintenance and equipment maintenance. + Diagnostic testing and mechanical troubleshooting. + Preventative maintenance and lockout procedures. + Knowledge of conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and motors. Additional Skills & Qualifications + At least 2+ years of experience in conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. + Preferred experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Industrial industries. + Secondary experience in Automotive, Military, Industrial Facilities Maintenance industries. + Associate degree from a technical school, apprenticeship, certifications, military training, or hands-on training related to maintenance field. Candidates should be comfortable with their performance being tracked by data and numbers. The role requires walking approximately 10,000 steps per day. All candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available for all shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bondurant, IA.
