Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber-control Engineer to join our team at the Amana, IA plant. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing processes. This role involves working with a variety of equipment and technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, servos, and robotics. This is supporting our overall Cyber Resiliency Program. The clients Manufacturing Cyber Resilience (MCR) team is a combination of Information Technology, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Manufacturing talent that works together to ensure the fortitude of clients manufacturing operations. This team leverages the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Operational Technology (OT) security guide to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover the digital assets in clients manufacturing space. Cross-functional cooperation and information sharing is key to the success of the group. This team has responsibility for 10 facilities in the United States along with 5 facilities in Mexico that make up the North American Region (NAR). Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Create and modify control systems using Allen Bradley PLCs (Logix 5000, SLC 500, Panelview HMI) and integrate them with auxiliary equipment such as servos, Ethernet I/P, and robotics. System Integration: Integrate PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment to optimize production processes and ensure seamless operation. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues with control systems to minimize downtime and maintain high levels of productivity. Project Management: Lead and manage control system projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and performance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
