Description Payroll Coordinator Location: United States Compensation: $85,000 u2013 $95,000 base salary plus bonus Position Overview A growing, multi-entity organization is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join its accounting team. This role will support weekly payroll processing across U.S. and Canadian employee populations and play a key role in maintaining compliance with evolving payroll regulations. Due to significant workforce growth and increasing legal and reporting requirements, the payroll function is expanding. This position will partner closely with the existing payroll team to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and reporting while supporting a major payroll system transition. Key Responsibilities + Assist with weekly payroll processing for a large, multi-state U.S. workforce and Canadian employee population + Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local payroll regulations + Support prevailing wage tracking and reporting requirements + Prepare and submit payroll-related filings and reporting in a timely manner + Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies + Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with internal controls + Collaborate with Accounting, HR, and Operations teams as needed + Play an active role in the implementation and transition to a new payroll/HRIS platform + Assist with process improvements and documentation of payroll procedures Requirements Qualifications + 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state environment + Experience processing high-volume payroll on a weekly schedule + Knowledge of U.S. payroll tax compliance; Canadian payroll knowledge a plus + Familiarity with prevailing wage reporting strongly preferred + Experience with HRIS/payroll system implementations or transitions is a plus + Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines + Excellent communication and organizational skills Why This Role + Join a stable and growing organization + Be part of a team expanding due to business growth + Opportunity to contribute to a major system implementation + High visibility role within Accounting Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
