In this role, youu2019ll have the opportunity to lead our team of operators in the operation and maintenance of a class four wastewater treatment facility. Youu2019ll work closely with project staff to maintain permit compliance and optimize wastewater treatment processes. You will help train and develop operators and prepare them for success in the wastewater field. You will work with the project manager to develop standard operating procedures and best practices.Bring your team-focus, adaptability, and commitment to excellence, and weu2019ll help you grow what drives you - and deliver the worldu2019s most challenging Operations Management projects, together.#omfs #ourjacobs #biaEssential Duties and Responsibilities:u2022 Monitor wastewater treatment operations, make process decisions, and guide operations staff.u2022 Diagnose process and equipment issues and work with the team to correct.u2022 Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.u2022 Conduct plant inspections for operational efficiency, cleanliness, and maintenance.u2022 Supervise, train, and evaluate operations team members.u2022 Respond professionally to emergencies and perform other duties as required. u2022 High school diploma or equivalent.u2022 Oregon/ABC Wastewater Treatment Level 3 Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).u2022 5+ years of experience in wastewater treatment or related field.u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.u2022 Valid state driveru2019s license with no major infractions.Ideally, You'll Also Have:u2022 Knowledge of activated sludge wastewater treatment operations and process control.u2022 Experience with compliance monitoring and reporting.u2022 Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, and CMMS programs.u2022 Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and respond effectively to challenges.Working Conditions:Safety is a core value at Jacobs.
