Description The Sr. Manager, IT Application Development & Support for Global Procurement (GP) is a strategic technology leader responsible for overseeing the design, development, integration, support, and continuous evolution of applications that enable global Procurement operations. This role serves as the primary bridge between Procurement business partners and DT, translating strategic objectives and operational needs into scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions. This leader will drive alignment between Procurementu2019s vision, Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, and DT execution while fostering innovation, operational excellence, and AI-enabled transformation. The ideal candidate combines deep procurement systems expertise (e.g., Coupa), strong financial systems knowledge and technical understanding of systems integration, scalability, security, and user experience u00b7 Partner with Global Procurement leadership to define and execute the technology strategy aligned to Source-to-Pay (S2P) vision, strategic priorities, and transformation goals. Serve as the primary technology advisor, aligning roadmaps, resolving cross-functional dependencies, and ensuring clear communication of risks and outcomes across GP, Finance, and DT u00b7 Own lifecycle governance of Procurement SaaS/COTS platforms (e.g., Coupa), ensuring roadmap alignment, release management, configuration standards, performance oversight, and seamless integration across S2P workflows, ERP/financial systems, invoice processing, supplier payments, and enterprise controls u00b7 Lead and manage a high performing team responsible for designing, developing, integrating, enhancing, and supporting procurement applications. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business outcomes. u00b7 Define and govern the end-to-end Procurement technology architecture, ensuring resilient, scalable, secure, and API-first integration patterns across Procurement, ERP, Finance, supplier systems, middleware, and enterprise platforms u00b7 Ensure Procurement systems comply with internal controls, segregation of duties (SoD), audit requirements, and enterprise security and risk policies. Partner with Finance, Risk, and Audit teams to mitigate operational and regulatory risk u00b7 Lead Procurement AI and automation strategy across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle, identifying high-value use cases (e.g., spend classification, contract intelligence, predictive analytics, 3 way matching, GenAI assistants) and driving measurable production deployment in partnership with Enterprise AI teams u00b7 Drive continuous modernization and platform rationalization across the Procurement technology landscape, evaluating build vs buy decisions, reducing technical debt, optimizing total cost of ownership, and aligning to enterprise architecture standards Qualifications Minimum Requirements: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s Degree u00b7 Engineering Management, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field, Software Engineering u00b7 7+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology u00b7 5+ years in people leadership roles, managing application development and enterprise support teams u00b7 Experience in procurement, Source-to-Pay (S2P) or finance systems in a complex and global environment u00b7 Deep knowledge of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, procurement operations, and enterprise system integration patterns u00b7 Strong understanding of procurement SaaS/COTS platforms (e.g., Coupa) and ERP/financial systems (e.g., Oracle), including configuration, lifecycle governance, and cross-system integration u00b7 Expertise in enterprise application architecture, including API-first design, middleware/integration platforms, event-driven patterns, data flows, and cloud-based architectures. (RESTful APIs, service based architecture (C#, .NET) u00b7 Ability to define scalable technology roadmaps aligned to procurement strategy, enterprise architecture standards, and business transformation goals u00b7 Strong data and analytics orientation; ability to leverage procurement KPIs and operational metrics to drive prioritization, performance improvement, and measurable business outcomes. u00b7 Familiarity with AI and automation use cases within procurement workflows (e.g., spend classification, contract intelligence, predictive analytics) and ability to operationalize solutions in partnership with enterprise AI teams u00b7 Demonstrated leadership capability in guiding cross-functional teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving delivery in complex, matrixed environments u00b7 Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and modernization of procurement technology platforms Preferred Requirements: u00b7 Master's degree u00b7 u00b7 AWS certification u00b7 Experience evaluating or implementing AI/automation solutions within enterprise systems u00b7 Exposure to AI use cases in procurement such as: Spend classification Contract intelligence Predictive analytics Invoice matching Gen AI chatbot u00b7 Coupa Certified Administrator / Coupa Implementation Certification u00b7 SAP Ariba Certification u00b7 AI/ML Certifications u00b7 Experience enabling procurement analytics and spend intelligence u00b7 Experience defining integration architecture across ERP, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi), supplier systems, and enterprise data platforms. The base pay range for this role is $140,600.00 to $183,108.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
