Primary City/State: Phoenix, Arizona Department Name: PSC Admin-Ref Lab Work Shift: Day Job Category: Phlebotomy We are looking for an employee focused, knowledgeable, leader with strong phlebotomy skills to oversee and mentor our outpatient phlebotomists in the west valley. This person will work with our employees in both doctor's office and patient service center locations and will need to provide support, mentoring, and guidance to our field staff while ensuring key metrics are met and excellent patient diagnostic care is consistently provided. This role demands excellent communication and customer service and requires a strong patient and employee balanced focus. POSITION SUMMARY This position is accountable for planning, directing, and controlling all phases of off-site phlebotomy operations to effectively contribute to the attainment of corporate objectives. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS + Education or experience consistent with an Associateu2019s degree in healthcare or a related field. + Minimum of three (3) yearsu2019 of Phlebotomy experience. + Ability to perform complex problem solving and leadership skills required. + Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English. + Advanced computer skills. Exceptional Customer Service skills. + Working knowledge of regulatory, accrediting, and compliance requirements. + Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Must possess a valid driveru2019s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy. + IOP placement requires execution of u201cConfidential Information and Restrictive Covenant Agreementu201d. + Placement in Mobile/Long Term Care department requires ADHS Fingerprinting Certification or the ability to obtain fingerprinting certification. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS + Experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Work Flow a plus. + National Phlebotomy Certification.
