Reference Test Clerk

Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team at Phoenix, AZ. Work Schedule: This is per diem/PRN position, up to 19 hours per week Job Responsibilities: u00b7 Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing u00b7 Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems u00b7 Send test requests to proper location and release test results u00b7 Assist clients with any specimen related requests or inquiries u00b7 Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities u00b7 Provide support to various areas of the laboratory u00b7 Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving u00b7 Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner u00b7 Maintain a clean and safe work environment Minimum Qualification: u00b7 High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualification: u00b7 1 year of experience in a medical / clinical laboratory Additional Job Standards: u00b7 Comfortability with handling biological specimens u00b7 Ability to accurately identify specimens u00b7 Basic computer and data entry skills u00b7 Strong communication skills; written and verbal u00b7 Ability to work independently or within a team environment u00b7 Well organized and a high level of attention to detail u00b7 Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time u00b7 Must pass a standardized color blindness test At Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
