DAS Installation Technician & Helper

Overview This telecommunications team specializes in four major areas: + LMR (Land Mobile Radio) + IBS/IDAS (Inu2011Building Systems / Distributed Antenna Systems) + ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) + Physical Security They support a wide range of inu2011building wireless projects across federal, state, and local government, as well as education, transportation, stadiums/venues, and healthcare environments. Work includes construction, installation, and maintenance of inu2011building wireless access points and DAS infrastructure. This specific role supports the Tennessee market, with additional travel to Richmond, VA when needed. Scope of Work Technicians will support: + DAS and lowu2011voltage installations + Public safety systems + Fiber and coax installation + ODAS/IDAS systems + New construction and existing campus environments Most work is concentrated on a major university campus in Tennessee, but coverage extends statewide. Occasional travel to Richmond, VA is required. Travel Requirements + Up to 50% travel in the worstu2011case scenario + Overnight stays in Richmond for up to 4 nights at a time + Travel via company vehicle + Hotel accommodations provided + $65/day per diem for overnight travel Position: DAS Installation Technician Schedule: 40u2011hour work week, Mondayu2013Friday (typically 8 AMu20135 PM), with overtime opportunities Responsibilities + Lead a twou2011person team (technician + helper) + Install, test, and troubleshoot coax and fiber systems + Rack and stack equipment; cable dressing and labeling + Perform lowu2011voltage cabling work + Read and work from blueprints and schematics + Provide job documentation, photos, and updates to the construction manager + Work with 1/2
