Your Opportunity: We have an opening for an Intern on our Corporate Sustainability team. This position will be a learning opportunity for an individual looking to pursue a career in corporate sustainability or corporate social responsibility. Stantecu2019s sustainability model includes active management of our environmental, social, and governance impacts. Our commitment to sustainability runs throughout the operation with oversight running directly to the board of directors. As a consulting firm, we offer sustainability services for a multitude of clients in every operating unit and geography, but this position supports Stantecu2019s own corporate sustainability efforts. Your Key Responsibilities: - Supports - Calculation of Stantecu2019s carbon footprint - Production of Stantecu2019s annual sustainability report - Efforts to promote the UN Sustainable Development goals - Provide analysis and reporting support to sustainability team and project teams. - Collects, summarizes and quality checks data - Assists in the preparation of presentations and reports - General administrative duties Your Capabilities and Credentials: - Strong analytical skills - Detail oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills - Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and web-based interfaces - Comfort working in a virtual environment - Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently Education and Experience: - In progress towards earning a secondary degree in Sustainability, Business with a focus on Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related area. Pay Range: u2022 $19.80 - $29.11 Hourly Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
