Job Description

Responsibilities + Design, develop, and maintain robust manual and automated test cases for insurance web applications + Automate UI, API, and end-to-end test scenarios covering critical insurance workflows across policy, billing, claims, and reporting systems + Execute manual, regression, smoke, and sanity testing to ensure application stability and quality + Collaborate closely with development, QA, data, and business teams to identify, track, and resolve defects + Analyze test results, ensure adequate coverage of business-critical scenarios, and continuously improve testing effectiveness + Maintain and enhance automation frameworks, test utilities, documentation, execution reports, and defect metrics Required Skill + Strong experience in automation testing using JavaScript and TypeScript + Hands-on expertise in Quality Assurance for enterprise web applications and APIs + Solid understanding of insurance domain concepts including policy lifecycle, rating, billing, claims, and underwriting + Guidewire Analyst Certification is mandatory + Working knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques + Experience integrating automated tests with CI CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions + Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies + Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field + Three to six years of experience in automation testing and QA, preferably within the insurance domain Desired Skill + Experience working with Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter + Exposure to ETL validation and downstream reporting processes + Awareness of reporting and data tools including SSIS, SSRS, and Crystal Reports + Experience with cloud-based insurance platforms + Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools Interested candidates are encouraged to apply for this position to be considered for the role.
