Adjunct Faculty - College Learning StudiesDepartment: Advising & Student SupportLocation: Grand Rapids, MIThe College is seeking candidates to teach College Learning Studies including: Intro to College: The New Student Experience; Career Decision Making; Planning for Life Transitions; and Leadership in Action or other courses in the Summer and Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 semesters at our downtown and Lakeshore campuses and in some area high schools.The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and connecting with students and a commitment to student success, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students. An appreciation for working with adolescents and emerging adults in their successful transition to college is needed in this role. Flexibility and an engaging teaching style are important to success in this role.Adjunct needs are determined on a semester-by-semester basis, as are the number of sections offered each semester. GRCC classes are held at a variety of times, Monday through Saturday in different modalities such as Hybrid, Online & Virtual. For semester start and end dates, see criminal background check will be conducted on all finalists prior to employment with Grand Rapids Community College.
