Commercial Finance Analyst

Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst Job Description Responsible for supporting sales teams in generating strong sales and profitability growth through deal proposal modeling, sales reporting and analysis, and pricing management. Responsibilities + Support sales teams by developing financial models for deal proposals. + Conduct sales reporting and analysis to ensure accurate pricing management. + Perform profit and loss analysis to drive sales and profitability growth. + Collaborate with salespeople to create sales proposals for customers. + Ensure pricing is updated appropriately and produce standardized sales reports. + Work adeptly in Microsoft Excel to develop on-the-fly financial models that fit specific situations. Essential Skills + Strong financial analysis. + Intermediate level proficiency (and above) in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions. + Experience in commercial finance and profit and loss analysis. + Ability to perform financial modeling and sales forecasting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Attention to detail and organizational skills. + Exposure to Power BI. + Agility and quick thinking to adapt to new situations. Work Environment This role is part of the Food Retail Division, supporting corporate accounts in the grocery store sector. It requires a standard 40-hour work week with flexibility in start times, working within a traditional first shift schedule (8a-5p). The position requires three days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and involves working behind the scenes on customer proposals without direct customer engagement. The role involves 40% repetitive, standardized reporting work and 60% interaction with salespeople to develop sales proposals. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Greensboro, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $31.50/hr.
