Job Description

Job Title: Welder Job Description In this position, candidates will utilize their welding and fabrication experience daily. You will work on a variety of products including tillage equipment, storage tanks, fertilizer spreaders, HVAC equipment for ethanol plants, and other custom metal products. The variety of projects ensures a dynamic work environment with new challenges every week. Responsibilities + Perform MIG welding on agricultural equipment. + Train on or learn blueprints to accurately layout products. + Collaborate with other welders and leads to complete projects efficiently. + Fabricate materials and clean up welds using a grinder. + Operate an overhead crane as needed to move products. + Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient product flow. + Assist in training new hires once you are comfortable with the processes. Essential Skills + Welding and fabrication experience, particularly with wirefeed techniques. + Ability to set up and adjust a welding machine. + Experience with blueprints and product layout. + Proficiency in MIG welding and using a grinder. + Capability to work with hand tools and press brakes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Miller Electric, Lincoln Electric, ESAB, and Fronius Welders. + Knowledge of sheet metal and structure. + Familiarity with tape measures, flux core welding, and agricultural equipment. + Experience in shop class or metal fabrication is advantageous. Work Environment Work hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional half-day Fridays. Expect to work consistently around 50 hours per week due to the current high demand. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
