Registered Nurse (RN) Nursery/Postpartum -Part Time

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Part Time Registered Nurse for the LDRP. This is a night shift position 24 hours per week with required call. Preferred applicants will have experience specifically in Post Partum and Mother Baby. This roll will cross train to the Specialty Care Nursery.Hours: Two 12-hour shifts per week with every 3rd weekend rotation on Saturday and Sunday. The required call is 16-24 hours per 6-week schedule.Sign on bonus up to $10,000 available for qualified candidates.LDRP:Sentara Martha Jeffersons Women's Health includes L&D, and a 24 bed post-partum mother/baby. Our Level 2 newborn specialty care nursery has a 1 to 1 ratio while our intermediate care babies have a 1 to 3 nursing ratio. Our LDRP unit also offers post operative care for complex GYN and Breast surgical needs. This specialty area has a 100-member team cross trained to offer best in class healthcare to Charlottesville, VA, and surrounding areas. The schedule is primarily 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holiday requirements.
