Application Development Program Manager

We are looking for an individual to join our Program Engineering team to partner with technical engineering/service teams to build, monitor, and maintain the systems and infrastructure that ensure our customers can achieve their missions. At CloudFit, the Senior Program Manager (PM) is a blend of program manager, project manager, and business analyst skill sets. You will be responsible for the tactical delivery of any assigned projects while aligning to the broader vision of CloudFit and our clients. You must be capable of managing the scope, schedule, and budget for engagements of any size. Our PMs drive the rhythms and reporting but also must be proactive, engaged, and hands-on to drive the programs/projects/initiatives forward. We would like to talk with you if you:Are interested in or have built distributed systems and enjoy working with high scale servicesHave a knack for driving, organizing, and clarifying complex cross-team & multi-geo effortsEnjoy working in a fast-moving environment and not afraid to change things to make it betterEnjoy new technological challenges and solving problemsBelieve that a team working well together is truly smarter than the single smartest person on that teamUnderstand the Product Owner role and be able to fill that role if our stakeholders do notEnjoy being part of the architecture and design stages of the project - helping to determine the strategy and plan for the productBe the voice of the customer, understand development practices and technologies, directly manage the work of the development team, and make decisions to build a product that achieves the goals/vision of our stakeholders You will be required to:Lead development and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing projectsAdhere to quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full project life cycleCollaborate with customers, understand the business value and the technical ask, to balance the customer/contract/technical demandsClarify contractual requirements, squash ambiguity, and breakdown the work into a delivery planManage the delivery plan including backlog prioritization, sprint schedules, and resource availabilityManage issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful and on-time project deliveryManage all stakeholder (internal and external) expectations through regular communications, reports, and status meetingsContribute to process improvement initiatives benefiting all of CloudFitTrack the detailed tasks while keeping sight of the overall goal and reporting appropriately to developers as well as executivesBuild relationships in a matrix environment to increase effectiveness and influence changeProactively use analytics and insights to establish relevant key performance indicatorsScale to multiple engagements and manage competing demands Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of technical project management.Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)Experience administering/customizing a work tracking system (like Azure DevOps and Jira)Experience with modern CICD automation pipelinesExperience managing projects where the customer/client approves the budget If you are excited by this type of challenge, and you love to work in groups of people who are similarly excited, come join us.
