Implements the nursing professional development (NPD) initiatives demonstrating caring behaviors, respect, equity, inclusiveness and empathy in actions and interactions with others.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Working knowledge of word processing, data management, email, and presentation applications. (Required) • Effective professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills. (Required) • Knowledge of the American Nurses Association (ANA)/Association of Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development (Required) • Self-directed, creative, and demonstrates initiative to fulfill the seven roles of the NPD practitioner: learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for inquiry, advocate for the NPD specialty and partner for practice transitions. (Preferred) • Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (e.g., CMS, OSHA) for professional specialty served. (Preferred) Education: • Bachelor's of Nursing [Required] • Master's of Nursing [Preferred] Field of Study: • N/A Work Experience: •2+ years nursing experience (Required) Additional Information: • Additional licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located.
