Consults are done done at both hospitals with the Primary facility being Seton Medical Center Austin ans secondary facilitybeing Dell Seton Medical Center. Weekend call coveragewill be at our inpatient facilityCross Creek Hospital.Position Highlights:* Well establishedprogram consisting of 17 full time physicians including Consult Liaison and PsychiatryED Physicians.* New grads welcome to apply* Weekend call round and go model Saturday to Sunday. Flat rate shared amongthe group.* No RVU or productivity compensation. This is a salaried position.* Average patient encounters1.6 per hour.*W2 emplolyee model with excellent benefits package including, 403B, health, dental, vision, long term and short term disabilityas well as many other employee benefits.Responsibilities:Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinate discharge planning with case management.Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.Accept patient referrals from other physicians.
