Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in marine and boat fabrication, is seeking a Tig Welder to join their dedicated team. As a Tig Welder, you will be an integral part of the fabrication department supporting the production of high-quality aluminum boat structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, dedication, and a strong understanding of welding techniques specific to aluminum, aligning seamlessly with the company's commitment to excellence and safety. Job Title: Tig Welder Location: Richfield Pay Range: Shift: What's the Job? Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum components, including pontoons, hulls, and deck structures. Interpret and follow blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings to ensure precise assembly. Inspect welded joints and structural components for defects, maintaining compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. Operate and maintain welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, grinders, and other fabrication tools. Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and fitting components, ensuring optimal welding conditions. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proven experience as an aluminum MIG/TIG welder, preferably in a boat manufacturing or marine environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. Strong knowledge of various welding techniques, processes, and equipment for aluminum. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
