Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.Duties include, but are not limited to:Companionship and conversationLight housekeeping tasks and meal preparationMedication and appointment remindersAssistance with grooming and bathingAssistance with toileting and incontinence issuesAlzheimer’s CarePrior caregiving experience is preferred but not required.Prior to working for our clients, all Home Instead caregivers—we call ours Care Professionals, or Care Pros for short—will go through specific training designed by Home Instead. These tasks include demonstrating ability to assist our clients with grooming, bathing, continence care, and mobility. After training, our Care Pros will feel confident going into the client’s home and helping to support their emotional, physical and mental wellbeing.Requirements to be a Home Instead Care Pro are:Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respectAbility to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate mannerDemonstrated reliability and trustworthinessPossess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insuranceMust be available to work a schedule of 15-40 hours per weekWe have a variety of shifts available.
