THE ROLE:Pro2col is a new digital product initiative within Herbalife, focused on modernizing how consumers engage with our brand through web and mobile experiences. We are building a scalable digital platform from the ground up and assembling a founding team of designers who want to shape the experience — not inherit someone else's system.Mobile is central to how our consumers will interact with Pro2col. This role exists to make that experience exceptional — and you will be the person who defines what it looks, feels, and behaves like.As a UX / UI Designer for Mobile, you will own the end-to-end design of our iOS and Android experience — from early concept and user flows through to detailed, production-ready interface specifications. You bring deep knowledge of mobile UX patterns, platform conventions, and gesture-driven interaction to a team building something new.You will partner closely with the web designer to establish a unified product design language, and work directly with engineers to ensure what gets built matches what was designed — down to the detail.HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:Lead Mobile UX and UI DesignOwn end-to-end design for the mobile app — user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and final specificationsDesign for both iOS and Android, respecting platform conventions (iOS HIG, Material Design) while maintaining a cohesive brand identityCreate gesture-driven, thumb-friendly experiences that feel native, intuitive, and fastDesign for accessibility from the start — contrast ratios, tap targets, screen reader compatibility, and beyondPrototype to Validate- Not just to PresentPrototyping in this role is a core design discipline, not a deliverable. Specifically, you will:Deliver rapid Figma prototypes — clickable through interaction-ready — to validate flows, content, and edge cases before engineering beginsProduce design-system-aligned, componentized prototypes with clear annotations and acceptance criteria to enable predictable engineering deliveryUse prototypes as a primary tool to surface UX risks, test assumptions with real users, and align stakeholders before buildBuild the Mobile Design SystemEstablish and maintain a mobile component library and design system in FigmaDefine mobile-specific patterns for navigation, onboarding, notifications, empty states, and key user journeysCollaborate with the web designer to align shared design language and tokens across platformsEvolve the system as the product matures, balancing consistency with the need to move quicklyPartner with Product and EngineeringWork directly with engineers to produce clear, annotated specs and handoff assets that leave no room for interpretationCollaborate with product management to shape feature definitions from a user experience perspectiveParticipate in usability testing sessions and incorporate findings into iterative design improvementsContribute to design critiques and help maintain a high quality bar across the full productWHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENTMost mobile design roles ask you to improve an existing app. This one asks you to invent it.You will not be measured by screens delivered. You will be measured by:The intuitiveness and quality of the mobile experiences you designThe robustness and scalability of the mobile design system you establishThe degree to which your prototypes and design decisions reduce risk and ambiguity for engineeringYour influence on product direction — not just the screens you hand offSKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:5+ years of UX / UI design experience with a clear focus on mobile (iOS and/or Android)Expert proficiency in Figma, including component-based design, prototyping, auto-layout, and design system managementComfort with Sketch or Adobe XD as supplementary toolsDeep knowledge of iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design principlesStrong portfolio demonstrating both UX problem-solving and high-quality visual design for mobile productsProven experience building and maintaining mobile design systems and component librariesTrack record of close, effective collaboration with engineering teams through to implementationNICE TO HAVE:Experience designing for both iOS and Android simultaneously within a single design systemFamiliarity with React Native or mobile development constraints — you don't need to code, but understanding what's technically complex vs. straightforward is a genuine assetBackground in consumer apps, health and wellness, or e-commerceExperience with mobile motion design and animation patternsFamiliarity with App Store and Google Play design review requirementsExposure to UX research methods and usability testing facilitationEDUCATION:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field combining technical and design elements; Exceptional portfolios demonstrating learning-driven experience engineering may substitute for formal education.•Preferred: Master's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or related field; portfolio demonstrating excellence in both code quality and user experience•Certifications: Front-end development certifications, UX certifications, Web Accessibility certifications (IAAP) valuable#LI-AR1#LI-Hybrid#LI-REMOTEHerbalife offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees in the U.S. (limited to the 50 States and the District of Columbia), which includes Group Health Programs, other Voluntary Benefit Programs, and Paid Time Off.
