Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Billing Analyst! The Billing/AR Analyst will assist in expense accounting, preparing invoices, obtaining billing approval and calculating incoming fees due. He/she will ensure that billing issues are current and resolved. Additionally, he/she will keep detailed records of transactions made.Compensation:Competitive Salary Pay -Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary range: $25-$30/hr.The benefits of belonging - what’s in it for you?Full benefits within 30 daysMedical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, life insurance, disability insurance401(k) match programPaid vacation, holidays, and sick timeCommitment to your safety through boot and prescription safety glasses reimbursementCareer and learning development with an extensive training program through our Amerit UniversityEmployee referral program, up to $1,000 bonusASE certification program with fee reimbursement and bonusEmployee recognition platform that includes opportunities to redeem points for merchandiseEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)24/7 nurse triage lineEmployee discounts on cell phone service and entertainment ticketsEmployee resource groups (ERGs) that foster inclusionWellness and fitness programs through our providersShift: Monday - Friday (full-time hours)Maintaining journal entries with regards to income, expenses, fund transfers and any other financial transactions.Creating and sending out accurate and timely invoicesWeekly invoice error correction of rejected invoices, including research in client's system and review with client oversight managersResearching challenges, deleting invoices, correcting time / task codes, approval to regenerate corrected invoices, communication of changes to clientProcessing credits and debits on incorrect billing -- discovery primarily from internal financial reconciliation and client manager challengesRate code discrepancies, over / under billing errors -- research issues, create solutions, reach consensus with field/client, and approve invoice entryReviewing warranty credits, parts damage, other specialized billing -- research, document, approve release; communication to client / field groupReimbursable expenses -- review for accuracy / reasonability, periodic expense researchGeneral inquiries related to invoicing and billing specific to the contract, allowable employee titles and bill rates, movement of employees from one state's contract rate to another.Minimum 3 years' experience in Billing / Accounts Receivable experienceStrong intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (v-lookups and pivot experience with high volumes of data).Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, mathematics or finance, or equivalent working experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsProficiency in MS OfficeSome experience in accounting software; PeopleSoft experience strongly desiredDemonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervisionOrganized and detail orientedThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
