Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward operates manufacturing and distribution facilities across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.Position OverviewThe Senior Production Planner plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by owning the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and executing material requirements planning across multiple production lines. This position is responsible for planning over 3,500 SKUs, supporting service and spare parts demand, and ensuring efficient material flow through the plant.The ideal candidate will bring strong ERP experience, advanced Excel capabilities, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. This individual will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, production, purchasing, and supply chain teams to maintain schedule integrity and drive operational efficiency.Own and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for assigned product linesExecute and review daily and weekly MRP outputsRelease production orders and maintain system accuracyAnalyze capacity constraints, labor requirements, and material availabilityMonitor inventory levels and ensure alignment with service and production targetsIncorporate engineering changes and new product introductions into production plansCollaborate with Purchasing to expedite materials as neededMaintain item master data and support ERP system integrityParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and drive process enhancementsWork cross-functionally with engineering, quality, production, and supply chain teams to ensure schedule adherenceBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong ERP experience required (Microsoft D365 highly preferred; SAP acceptable)Proven experience managing high-SKU environments and multiple production linesStrong Excel skills requiredExperience in service and spare parts planning preferredAPICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plusHayward is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#LI-JM1
